<p>Apple has sent a note to developers saying it will implement two new suggestions “to make it easier for customers to find great apps that fit their needs” from the developer community starting Sept. 7 (which just happens to be the data of Apple’s next media event).</p>

<p>According to the latest market share survey from <a target="_blank" href="http://netmarkeshare.com" rel="noopener noreferrer">NetMarketShare</a>, the market share for Mac OS X dipped again in August, while iOS rose a bit.</p>

<p>Good news for Apple MacBook users: <a href="http://cts.businesswire.com/ct/CT?id=smartlink&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.hdmi.org%2F&esheet=51410910&newsitemid=20160901005070&lan=en-US&anchor=HDMI+Licensing%2C+LLC&index=1&md5=65a583525624ec074343f87b80cc1c5a">HDMI Licensing, LLC</a> is releasing the HDMI Alternate Mode (“Alt Mode”) developed by the HDMI founders for the USB Type-C Specification. </p>

<p>Worldwide smartphone shipments are expected to reach 1.46 billion units with a year-over-year growth rate of 1.6% in 2016 according to the latest forecast from the International Data Corporation (<a href="http://www.idc.com/">IDC</a>) <a href="http://www.idc.com/tracker/showproductinfo.jsp?prod_id=37">Worldwide Quarterly Mobile Phone Tracker</a>. </p>

<p>Apple hasn’t confirmed an “iPhone 7” or “Apple Watch” 2 — though they’re expected to debut at an Sept. 7 media event — but that hasn’t stopped <a href="http://www.prweb.net/Redirect.aspx?id=aHR0cDovL2J1bGJhZS5jb20=">bulbae</a> from announcing the launch of the Executive Collection, a series of three Apple Watch and iPhone Charging Docks that offer dual charging for both the smartphone and smartwatch.</p>

<p><a target="_blank" href="http://www.sonnettech.com" rel="noopener noreferrer">Sonnet Technologie</a>s has announced the Twin 10G SFP+ Thunderbolt 2 to Dual-Port SFP+ 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10GbE) adapter, solution for adding 10GbE network connectivity to any Mac with Thunderbolt 2 or Thunderbolt ports.</p>

<p>A newly granted Apple patent (number 9,367,095) for an “electronic device with a wrap around display” will only further fuel speculation that “iPhone 8” in 2018 will sport a, well, wraparound display. </p>

<p>C’mon, Tim, tell us what you really think! Apple CEO Tim Cook has <a href="http://www.independent.ie/business/irish/no-one-did-anything-wrong-here-and-ireland-is-being-picked-on-it-is-total-political-crap-35012145.html">branded</a> the <a href="https://appleworld.dreamhosters.com/blog/2016/8/30/eu-commission-apple-must-pay-145-billion-in-back-taxes">European Commission ruling</a> that Apple must repay 13 billion euros ($14.5 billion) in back taxes “total political crap.”</p>

<p>Overall, I like <a href="http://www.olala.hk/products.php?keyword=iDisk">OLALA’s M38</a>, a mini metal USB flash drive for use with the iPhone and iPad. However, I don't love it — and I wanted to love it.</p>
