<p>Future iterations of the Apple Pencil may be able to capture and represent the texture of a scanned surface, as evidenced by a new Apple patent (number 9,817,489) for a “texture capture stylus and method.” And, yes, I know that Apple says the Pencil isn’t a stylus, but that’s how the tech giant has described it in more than one patent.</p>
<p>Forget the iPhone X and the <a target="_blank" href="https://appleworld.dreamhosters.com/blog/2017/11/13/rumor-the-65-inch-iphone-x-plus-is-coming-next-year" rel="noopener noreferrer">iPhone X Plus</a>, I already want the 2019 Apple smartphone. According to <a target="_blank" href="https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2017-11-14/apple-is-said-to-target-rear-facing-3-d-sensor-for-2019-iphone" rel="noopener noreferrer"><em>Bloomberg</em></a>, Apple is working on a rear-facing 3D sensor for that year’s model. </p>
<p>Apple retook the lead in the wearable band market in quarter three of 2017, with shipments of 3.9 million, reports the <a target="_blank" href="http://www.canalys.com" rel="noopener noreferrer">Canalys research grou</a>p. It posted its strongest quarter so far in 2017, thanks to the release of the Apple Watch Series 3. </p>
<p>There are some changes in the user interface of the iPhone X from previous versions of the Apple smartphone. However, they’re not hard to adjust, too, if you have a little patience. </p>

<p>Acclivity has released AccountEdge Pro 2018, an upgrade of the small business accounting native desktop software for macOS and Windows. </p>
<p>A Midnight Fog edition of the Nike Apple Watch Cellular + GPS will be available Tuesday, Nov. 14, at nike.com and Nike retail stores for $399. No info yet on whether it will be sold by Apple, as well, though I suspect it will.</p>

<p>Some iPhone X are apparently experiencing "crackling" or "buzzing" sounds coming from the smartphone's front-facing earpiece speaker at high volumes. Over two dozen users have said they are affected in a <a target="_blank" href="https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/iphone-x-crackle-speakers.2084292/" rel="noopener noreferrer">MacRumors discussion topic</a> about the matter, while similar reports have surfaced on <a target="_blank" href="https://twitter.com/search?q=iphone%20x%20crackling&src=typd" rel="noopener noreferrer">Twitter</a> and <a target="_blank" href="https://www.reddit.com/r/apple/comments/7b5gci/i_love_everything_about_the_iphone_x_except_the/" rel="noopener noreferrer">Reddit</a> since the smartphone launched.</p>
<p>In a note to clients — as noted by <a target="_blank" href="http://appleinsider.com/articles/17/11/11/iphone-x-iphone-8-plus-production-accelerating-alongside-cutback-in-orders-for-iphone-8" rel="noopener noreferrer"><em>AppleInsider</em></a> — KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo says that production problems with the iPhone X are over, and about 26 million units of the smartphone should ship in the holiday quarter.</p>
