<p>Flexibits has announced Cardhop, an interactive contacts app for the Mac. Its parsing engine lets users search, add, edit, and interact with their contacts in one place. </p>

<p>The iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus are now available at <a target="_blank" href="http://MetTel.net" rel="noopener noreferrer">MetTel</a>, a global provider of integrated digital communications solutions for enterprise customers. It will also offer the upcoming iPhone X, which goes on sale Oct. 27.</p>

<p>Adobe has unveiled the next generation of Creative Cloud, including four new applications: Adobe XD CC for experience design, Adobe Dimension CC for 2D to 3D compositing, Character Animator CC for 2D animation, and a cloud-based photography service, Adobe Photoshop Lightroom CC. </p>

<p>The Spanish bank CaixaBank can now use Apple Pay, the bank noted in a <a target="_blank" href="https://blog.caixabank.es/ca/2017/10/descobreix-com-funciona-apple-pay.html" rel="noopener noreferrer">blog post</a>. It’s the country's third-largest lender by market value and with 6,631 branches to serve its 13.2 million customers, CaixaBank has the most extensive branch network in the Spanish market.</p>

<p>Apple and GE have announced a partnership to deliver industrial apps designed to bring predictive data and analytics from Predix, GE’s industrial Internet of Things (IoT) platform, to the iPhone and iPad. The two companies unveiled a new Predix software development kit (SDK) for iOS, which gives developers the tools to make their own industrial IoT apps.</p>

<p>EDGEtv has launched its <a target="_blank" href="https://itunes.apple.com/US/app/id1283005809?mt=8" rel="noopener noreferrer">adventure lifestyle entertainment network</a> and it’s available on the Apple TV (as well as via iPhone and Android apps).</p>

<p>Apple has been granted a patent (number 9,792,013) for “interface scanning for disabled users.” It involves improved input devices and methods for physically-impaired users. </p>

<p>With macOS High Sierra, you can browse the web without being tracked thanks to the new version of the Safari web browser, which uses WebKit, a layout engine software component for rendering web pages in web browsers.</p>

<p>Other World Computing (OWC) has announced new <a target="_blank" href="https://www.owcdigital.com/products/aura-pro-x" rel="noopener noreferrer">Aura Pro X SSDs</a>, integrating the latest NVME, 3D MLC, and SLC NAND for data performance of up to 1600MB/s with exceptional power efficiencies. They work with most 2013 and later Macs.</p>

<p>WaterField Designs has announced the <a target="_blank" href="https://www.sfbags.com/products/ranger-iphone-x-case" rel="noopener noreferrer">Ranger iPhone X case</a>, a modern take on the traditional holster. With magnetic closing systems that use Neodymium rare-earth magnets, it attaches securely to clothing, belts, work vests or straps.  </p>

<p><a target="_blank" href="http://www.flashphoner.com" rel="noopener noreferrer">Flashphoner</a>, a developer of streaming video systems, has released an update of its Web Call Server 5 media server to work with Safari 11 on iOS and macOS High Sierra. </p>

<p>Future iPhones and iPads may have small displays on their sides in addition to the main display. And Apple Watch bands could also offer additional display info.</p>

<p>The <a target="_blank" href="http://www.greenpeace.org/greenerguide" rel="noopener noreferrer"><em>2017 Guide to Greener Electronics</em></a> was released today by Greenpeace USA, with rankings of 17 of the world's leading consumer electronics companies on sustainable manufacturing and design of IT products.
