<p>If you wish you can record a FaceTime call with macOS High Sierra. Here’s how to do it:<br />Open QuickTime on your Mac from your dock. It’s in the Applications folder. Or you can use the macOS LaunchPad. Or — my favorite method — you can tell Siri to “Open QuickTime.”</p>

<p>Apple has been granted a patent (number 9,813,479) for a web browser with a  video display history. It involves, of course, Safari on macOS and iOS.</p>

<p>Another day, another lawsuit. As noted by <a target="_blank" href="https://www.macrumors.com" rel="noopener noreferrer"><em>MacRumors</em></a>, <a target="_blank" href="http://corephotonics.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer">Corephotonics</a>, an Israeli maker of dual-lens camera technologies for smartphones, has filed a lawsuit against Apple, alleging that the iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone 8 Plus infringe upon four of its patents. The patents relate to dual-lens camera technologies appropriate for smartphones, including optical zoom and a mini telephoto lens assembly.</p>

<p>Minder Softworks has announced Photonium, a minimalist web browser for macOS (10.11 and higher). It offers the unique ability to view photos stored in Apple's Photos app in a separate pane. </p>

<p>Apple is indeed developing augmented reality (AR) glasses that will go on sale as soon as the end of 2019, Jeff Pu, an analyst at Yuanta Investment Consulting, told the <a target="_blank" href="https://asia.nikkei.com/Business/AC/iPhone-supplier-Catcher-Tech-to-make-augmented-reality-parts)" rel="noopener noreferrer"><em>Nikkei Asian Review</em></a>. </p>

<p>Apple says the iPhone X will arrive in 13 additional countries across Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Africa as well as Macau on Friday, Nov. 24.</p>

<p>HITMAN – Game of the Year Edition<em> </em>is now available on the Mac. Developed by Io-Interactive for Windows and consoles, it’s brought to macOS and Linux by Feral Interactive.</p>

<p>Apple has been granted a patent (number 9,811,721) for “three-dimensional hand tracking using depth sequences.” It relates generally to the field of computer vision and machine learning.</p>

<p>Wistron, Apple’s primary assembler in India, is is scouting for about 100 acres of land in Bangalore to expand its facilities, reports <a target="_blank" href="https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2017-11-07/apple-supplier-is-said-to-plan-india-expansion-in-iphone-push" rel="noopener noreferrer"><em>Bloomberg</em></a>, quoting unnamed “people familiar with the matter.”</p>

<p>After the <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2017/11/06/world/apple-taxes-jersey.html"><em>New York Times</em></a><em> </em>reported that Apple is stashing much of its cash hoard on the small island of Jersey, which typically doesn’t tax corporate income, Apple has issued a statement on its tax payments, as follows:</p>

<p>macOS High Sierra’s Night Shift is a feature brought over from iOS. It helps you reduce the amount of blue light you're exposed to during the evening by shifting the display of a Mac to a more yellow tone.</p>
