<p>Here's some good news for Apple's iBookstore: the ebook market will more than double by 2020, according to <a target="_blank" href="http://www.strategyanalytics.com" rel="noopener noreferrer">Strategy Analytics</a>. Increasing e-reading device penetration, more readily available content, new business models, and adoption in China will see the market's revenue top $16 billion in the next eight years, the research group adds.</p>

Apple expects strong MacBook Pro sales going into 2017

Comcast’s NBCUniversal to sell ads for Apple News

<p>Apple will turn over ad sales for its Apple News app to Comcast’s NBCUniversal in an exclusive deal that starts in January, according to <a target="_blank" href="http://www.recode.net/2016/11/7/13547014/apple-news-nbcuniversal-sales" rel="noopener noreferrer">recode</a>. The new deal means that NBCUniversal, instead of Apple, will sell any remaining ad inventory.</p>

China’s cyber security law will impact companies such as Apple

<p>China has adopted a controversial cyber security law to counter what Beijing says are growing threats such as hacking and terrorism, reports <a target="_blank" href="http://www.reuters.com/article/us-china-parliament-cyber-idUSKBN132049" rel="noopener noreferrer">Reuters.</a> The legislation,  set to take effect in June 2017, says "Ccritical information infrastructure operators" must now store both personal and business data on Chinese servers.</p>
