<p>In a note to clients — obtained by <a target="_blank" href="http://appleinsider.com/articles/16/08/05/apples-iphone-7-plus-predicted-to-face-supply-constraints-due-to-new-dual-lens-camera" rel="noopener noreferrer">AppleInsider</a> — RBI Capital Markets Analyst Amit Daryanani says introducing an entirely new dual-lens camera system in the larger 5.5-inch variant of this year's iPhone upgrade, Apple could struggle with demand for the so-called "iPhone 7 Plus.” Of course, product shortages for new Apple smartphones are par for the course.</p>

Apple scoops up machine learning platform for developers and data scientists

Apple’s iPhone marketshare in India shrinks 35% annually

<p>According to the latest research from Strategy Analytics, smartphone shipments grew 19% annually to reach <a href="https://www.strategyanalytics.com/access-services/devices/mobile-phones/handset-country-share/market-data/report-detail/india-smartphone-vendor-and-os-marketshare-q2-2016#.V6PVpvmANBd">31 million units in India during the second quarter of 2016</a>. Android maintained first position with a record 97% smartphone OS marketshare in India; that’s up from 90% a year ago.</p>

Apple issues $7 billion bond sale in U.S. market

<p>In a filing made to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on July 28, Apple detailed its latest $7 billion bond sale in the U.S. marketplace. As noted by <a href="http://appleinsider.com/articles/16/08/04/apple-issues-7b-us-bond-to-fund-stock-buybacks-corporate-initiatives">AppleInsider</a>, the joint book running managers for this bond sale listed in <a href="http://secfilings.com/searchresultswide.aspx?link=1&filingid=11525951">the SEC filing</a> are Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan Securities, and Merrill Lynch. Bank of America is not participating in any way with this offering, but was listed as a fund manager during the last sale.</p>
