Apple and Facebook are at an impasse regarding the latter’s new subscription tool

<p>Apple and Facebook are “butting heads” over the latter’s plan for a new subscription tool in its mobile app, according to <a target="_blank" href="https://www.recode.net/2017/10/19/16503272/facebook-apple-android-subscription-plan-instant-articles" rel="noopener noreferrer"><em>recode</em></a>. The tool will put paywalls around some articles in Facebook’s news feed, and then send users to publishers’ sites to buy subscriptions.</p>

Apparently, the battle over a proposed Apple data center in Ireland isn’t over just yet

RiteAid now accepting Apple Pay

Apple files for patent for a method of image processing for an AR app

The NAB still wants Apple to enable FM radio features in new iPhones

<p>Last month the <a target="_blank" href="https://appleworld.dreamhosters.com/blog/2017/9/28/nab-wants-apple-to-implement-fm-radio-features-in-the-iphone-to-help-save-lives?rq=NAB" rel="noopener noreferrer">National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) called</a> for Apple to implement FM radio feature in the iPhone to help save lives. The tech giant said recent iPhones don’t have such a feature, but the NAB is still asking Apple to implement it.</p>
