<p>Apple revenues in China could be down 20 percent in China in its quarterly earnings report, according to research by Baidu (the “Chinese Google”) as noted by <a target="_blank" href="http://www.cnbc.com/2016/07/21/apples-china-revenues-could-fall-20-baidu-report.html?__source=applenews%7Ctechnology&par=applenews" rel="noopener noreferrer">CNBC</a>. Of course, the key word in that sentence is “could.”</p>

<p>Ahead of the Apple earnings call on Tuesday, July 26 , <a href="http://www.vertoanalytics.com/">Verto Analytics</a> has shared some interesting data about the company with <em>AppleWorld.Today.</em></p>

<p>Apple has announced that its first retail store in Brooklyn, New York will open on Saturday, July 30, at 10 a.m. It will be the company’s ninth retail store in the Big Apple.</p>

<p>Sorry, you’ll have to wait another year for an “Apple Car.” An Apple-branded vehicle won’t be available in 2020, but has been pushed back to 2021, according to <a target="_blank" href="https://www.theinformation.com/at-apple-the-sumner-boys-help-build-a-car" rel="noopener noreferrer">The Information.</a></p>

<p>Apple has apparently scooped up Omnifone, a cloud-based music provider in a deal worth $10 million, according to <a href="http://macrumors.com">MacRumors.com</a>. <a target="_blank" href="http://www.omnifone.com" rel="noopener noreferrer">Omnifone</a> is the company behind MusicStation, a cloud-based global media platform that provides back-end solutions for digital music services.</p>

<p>Google’s Android mobile software accounted for an 82% share of mobile games downloaded during the second quarter of 2016, development company <a href="https://unity3d.com/">Unity3D</a> says in a new report. That compares to 17% of game downloads for iOS.</p>

<p>Apple has released the second public betas of macOS Sierra and iOS 10 to public beta testers. The finished versions of the operating system updates are due this fall.</p>
