<p>Apple hasn’t even confirmed that an “iPhone 7” is coming, but that hasn’t stopped <a target="_blank" href="http://vrdesign.com" rel="noopener noreferrer">VRS Design</a> from announcing their case line-up for the next gen smartphone. </p>

<p>A Barbra Streisand update may be coming to iPhones, iPads and even Macs soon. The singer and actress recently said she asked that Apple fix Siri, its personal digital assistant (which will debut on the Mac with macOS Sierra this fall) to pronounce her last name right, according to <a target="_blank" href="http://www.billboard.com/articles/news/7480218/barbra-streisand-apple-siri-update" rel="noopener noreferrer">Billboard</a>.</p>

<p>Apple has bought Gliimpse, a personal health data startup, according to <a target="_blank" href="http://www.fastcompany.com/3062865/tim-cooks-apple/apple-acquires-personal-health-data-startup-gliimpse" rel="noopener noreferrer">Fast Company</a>. The acquisition apparently took place earlier this year.</p>

<p>According to a <a href="http://www.nytimes.com/2016/08/20/technology/lyft-is-said-to-fail-to-find-a-buyer-despite-talks-with-several-companies.html?_r=0">report</a> from the <em>New York Times</em>, the ride-sharing company <a target="_blank" href="http://www.lyft.com" rel="noopener noreferrer">Lyft</a> recently held discussions with handful of companies — including Apple — to discuss a possible acquisition.</p>

<p>Hon Hai Precision Industry, which trades as Foxconn Technology Group and which assembles Apple products, said on Monday two workers at its manufacturing facilities in China died last week, even as the company made efforts to improve labor conditions that came under scrutiny after a spate of suicides in recent years, reports <a target="_blank" href="http://www.reuters.com/article/us-foxconn-deaths-idUSKCN10X0ZI?il=0" rel="noopener noreferrer">Reuters</a>.</p>

<p>Apple met with retail employees over the weekend to introduce “major new changes, including new and renamed positions, a new credo, and new store layouts,” reports <a target="_blank" href="http://www.macrumors.com/2016/08/21/apple-new-retail-positions-credo-layout/" rel="noopener noreferrer">MacRumors</a>, quoting unnamed “multiple retail sources.”</p>

<p>The <a target="_blank" href="http://www.satechi.net/index.php/new/dual-sonic-v2-white" rel="noopener noreferrer">Satechi Dual Sonic Conicals</a> (v 2.0) are decent-sounding, low cost ($29.99) speakers that will appeal to owners of computers with crappy speakers, though they’re certainly not targeted to those who want audiophile quality sound.</p>

<p>World Cup Air Hockey — available in free and US$0.99 versions at the <a target="_blank" href="https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/world-cup-air-hockey-free/id312548536?mt=8" rel="noopener noreferrer">Apple App Store</a> for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch is a fine, fun virtual hockey game. It first allows you to pick the country that you represent and your opponents country. Once done, you then choose from three game modes: Practice, Tournament and Head-to-Head. Of these three, I find my self playing mainly practice as it's straightforward.</p>

<p>They’re equipped with a full HD video camera, users can capture photos and videos of their favorite flying adventures. Measuring 19.7 inches and weighing only 1.3 pounds, the Sky Ranger Video Drone’s first person view feature gives users a bird’s eye view of flights on their smartphone via the free app for iOS and Android. </p>

<p>House of Marley has added its first product crafted with zirconia ceramics to its line of audio gear and lifestyle accessories: the Nesta ceramic in-ear headphones. </p>

<p><a href="http://hunterfan.com/">Hunter Fan Company</a> has rolled out their Wi-Fi enabled Signal ceiling fan, which supports Apple HomeKit technology and seamlessly with other HomeKit-enabled products.</p>

<p>Hercules has introduced the $129.99 DJControl Instinct P8, a dual-deck DJ controller.  It has built-in audio and essential mix and remix features.</p>

<p>Brainseed Factory has announced that <em>Typoman: Revised</em> is now live on <a href="http://planofattack.us12.list-manage1.com/track/click?u=bb3a3c27095f343ef67c62d5b&id=86d9f1b7bf&e=8670493549">Steam</a> for Macs and PCs. A free demo version is now available. The game is priced at $14.99 with a 20% off it’s first week of launch.</p>

<p>Piper Jaffray analyst <a target="_blank" href="http://seekingalpha.com/news/3204563-piper-jaffray-analyst-gene-munster-apples-battery-ar-vr-automobile-prospects?source=email_rt_mc_readmore&uprof=53&dr=1#email_link" rel="noopener noreferrer">Gene Munster thinks</a> we’ll see some results of the “Apple Car” project before the 2021 date mentioned by the <em>Wall Street Journal</em>.</p>

<p>With a MacBook Pro expected in the next couple of months, RBC Capital Markets analyst Amit Daryanani <a href="http://blogs.barrons.com/techtraderdaily/2016/08/19/apple-possible-macbook-pro-refresh-an-extra-lift-for-the-stock-says-rbc/">believes</a> a trend of year-over-year Mac revenue declines in three consecutive quarters is set to reverse. </p>
