No wonder. He oversees Apple Music, iTunes, Apple Maps, Apple Pay, iCloud, and more.</p>

<p style="white-space: pre-wrap;">Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has predicted that the 2018 Apple Watch will have a 15% bigger screen. There’s mounting evidence that he’s right. He doesn’t say exactly how this will be accomplished or if the updated smartwatch will pack a bigger chassis. Currently, Apple Watches come in 38mm or 42mm sizes.</p>

<p style="white-space: pre-wrap;"><a href="https://variety.com/2018/tv/news/apple-amazon-tiff-1202927824/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer"><em>Variety</em></a> is reporting that Apple’s video production execs, Zack Van Amburg and Jamie Erlicht, will head to the Toronto International Film Festival this week. Execs for the streaming giant “will arrive with checkbooks in hand as they look to make potential acquisitions that could fill out the content pipeline for the company’s still-under-wraps entertainment service,” the article adds.</p>

<p style="white-space: pre-wrap;">Apple’s upcoming 6.5-inch iPhone could be called the "iPhone Xs Max,” according to <a href="https://9to5mac.com/2018/09/05/iphone-xs-max-name/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer"><em>9to5Mac</em></a> citing unnamed “sources with knowledge of Apple's marketing plans.” Personally, I hope not, as that’s an unwieldy moniker.</p>

<p style="white-space: pre-wrap;">Beats by Dr. Dre (Beats), a headphone brand co-founded by Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine and acquired by Apple in 2014, and the National Basketball Association (NBA) have announced a marketing and merchandising partnership that will make the company the official headphone, wireless speaker and audio partner of the NBA, Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA), NBA G League and USA Basketball beginning in October.</p>

<p style="white-space: pre-wrap;">T-Mobile has launched an iPhone and iPad leasing program that extends financing from Apple to businesses activating 25 or more lines with the wireless carrier. For a limited time, T-Mobile will cover the first $100 of every device leased through the program. </p>

<p style="white-space: pre-wrap;">In a note to clients — as reported by <a href="https://appleinsider.com/articles/18/09/05/morgan-stanley-sees-apples-video-business-rivaling-netflix-by-2025-ups-target-to-245" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer"><em>AppleInsider</em> </a>— Morgan Stanley analysts think Apple’s upcoming video business will rival Netflix by 2025. They’ve upped their target price on the company’s stock to $245 from $232.</p>

In addition to the thinner equidistant bezels, these renders show that Apple is swapping curved chamfered edges of the last few iPad generations with new squared-off flat sides. </p>

<p style="white-space: pre-wrap;">Say adios to the Touch ID button on the upcoming iPhones — and don’t expect Apple to embed the technology into the display itself a some have speculated, Ming-Chi Kuo says in a note to clients — as noted by <a href="#" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer"><em>MacRumors</em></a><em>. Instead, Apple will go all in with Face ID, the analyst adds.</em></p>

<p style="white-space: pre-wrap;">Apple’s iPhone probably accounts for over 50%of smartphone sales across the Big Four U.S. mobile carriers, claims Canaccord Genuity analyst, Michael Walkley in a note to clients — as pointed out by <a href="http://www.applemust.com/apple-to-sell-222m-iphones-across-next-12-months-analyst/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer"><em>Apple Must</em></a>. He also thinks that the tech giant will sell more than 222 million smartphones over the next 12 months.</p>

<p style="white-space: pre-wrap;">Growth continued in the global wearables market during the second quarter of 2018 (2Q18) as shipment volume reached 27.9 million units, up 5.5% from the previous year according to data from the International Data Corporation (IDC) <a href="http://www.idc.com/tracker/showproductinfo.jsp?prod_id=962" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Worldwide Quarterly Wearable Device Tracker</a>. Apple maintained its position atop the wearables market with "market-beating growth and continued demand for its LTE-enabled Watch," adds the research group. </p>
