<p style="white-space: pre-wrap;">Jamf, which specializes in Apple device management, has announced a set of updates to its Apple device management solution for small and medium businesses, Jamf Now. Customers can immediately begin deploying packages on macOS devices, custom applications on iOS devices and leveraging restrictions to swiftly set up, manage and protect their Mac, iPhone, and iPad devices, according to Nick Amundsen, vice president, Jamf Now. </p>

<p style="white-space: pre-wrap;">Twelve South has launched the <a href="https://www.twelvesouth.com/product/plugbug-duo?utm_source=twelvesouth.com+subscribers&utm_campaign=7ac7140464-PlugBug+Duo+-+Full+List&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_76703c9491-7ac7140464-59275963&mc_cid=7ac7140464&mc_eid=4cec9fbb29" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">PlugBug Duo</a>, a $49.99 device that snaps onto your Apple MacBook power adapter and adds two traditional USB charging ports. It allows you to charge your MacBook, headphones and battery pack from just one outlet. </p>

<p style="white-space: pre-wrap;">Apple has introduced new ways customers can enjoy and support America’s national parks with an Apple Pay donation program and Apple Watch Activity Challenge.</p>

<p style="white-space: pre-wrap;">A rare Apple-1 computer, the first personal computer produced by Steve Jobs and Steve “Woz” Wozniak at the fledgling Apple Computer Company in Palo Alto, California, in 1976, is being offered for sale by RR Auction on <a href="http://www.invaluable.com" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Invaluable</a>, an online marketplace for fine art, antiques and collectibles.</p>

<p style="white-space: pre-wrap;">Apple has been granted two patents involving the integration of its Maps app in CarPlay. Compatible with iPhone 5 and later models, CarPlay provides a simplified way to use your iPhone interface on a car’s touch screen, giving users access to Siri voice controls, as well as Apple Maps, Apple Music, Phone, Messages, and a variety of third party apps.</p>

<p style="white-space: pre-wrap;">New actions by the Australian government agency, Heritage Victoria, may delay or jeopardize Apple’s plans for a store in Federation Square. </p>

<p style="white-space: pre-wrap;">Apple will open its first store in Kyoto, a cultural and technological hub for Japan, Saturday on Shijō Dori. It will be the company’s ninth retail outlet in the country.</p>

<p style="white-space: pre-wrap;">Were you saddened when Apple announced in July that it was ending its photo print service? Don’t be. <a href="https://www.motifphotos.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Motif</a>, a new, free macOS extension from the company that’s been printing Apple’s photo books since 2005, fills the void just fine.</p>
