Qualcomm tries to stop iPhone sales in China

<p>Qualcomm, hacked off over Apple’s decision to stop paying it billions of dollars in licensing fees for smartphone chips, has <a target="_blank" href="https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2017-10-13/qualcomm-asks-china-to-halt-manufacture-sale-of-iphones?cmpid=socialflow-twitter-business&utm_content=business&utm_campaign=socialflow-organic&utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=social" rel="noopener noreferrer">filed suit</a> in China seeking to ban the sale and manufacture of iPhones in the region, according to Bloomberg. The is the latest in a long legal battle between the supplier and Apple. Qualcomm previously requested an iPhone ban in the U.S.</p>

iOS sees growth in U.S., China, Germany, France and Spain

<p>The latest smartphone OS data from <a target="_blank" href="http://www.kantarworldpanel.com" rel="noopener noreferrer">Kantar Worldpanel ComTech</a> reveals that for the three months ending in August 2017, iOS posted growth in the U.S., China, Germany, France, and Spain, but performance in Great Britain dropped. </p>

China Labor Watch blames Jabil layoffs on declining iPhone 8 sales

Finder: ‘iPhone’ is tweeted about 1.3 times more than ‘Android’

<p>Finder has <a target="_blank" href="https://www.finder.com/uk/twitter-android-vs-iphone" rel="noopener noreferrer">completed research </a>into online smartphone sentiment and found some very interesting results. After analyzing over 110,000 tweets mentioning “iPhone” or “Android,” the customer service site found that Apple’s smartphone was tweeted about 1.3 times more and received a 1:1 ratio of positive and negative tweets.</p>

Rumor: iPhones will gain Apple Pencil compatibility in 2019

Analyst: Apple will go all in with Face ID in 2018 iPhones

Yale releases HomeKit-enabled smart locks
