Some GPS Apple Watch Series 3 may have ‘edge stripe’ issues

<p>Apple has <a target="_blank" href="https://www.theverge.com/circuitbreaker/2017/10/31/16584086/apple-watch-series-3-edge-strips-issue-repair" rel="noopener noreferrer">sent an internal memo</a> — as noted by <em>MacRumors</em> — that some GPS models of the Apple Watch Series 3— as are showing “edge stripes” on the display. Genius Bar workers and Apple Authorized Service Providers will offer a free fix under the standard one-year warranty. </p>

Analyst: the TrueDepth camera won’t make it to all 2018 iPhones models

Parks Associates: Apple, Samsung widen lead over LG and Motorola

<p>Parks Associates announced <a target="_blank" href="http://www.parksassociates.com/360view/360-view--mobility-and-the-app-economy" rel="noopener noreferrer">new research</a> today in smartphone ownership showing that Apple and Samsung have widened their brand share lead over LG and Motorola among the installed base of smartphones in the U.S. The international firm shows that LG has fallen to just 9% of consumer-reported brand share, behind Apple (47%) and Samsung (29%).</p>

Apple patent is for electronic devices with environmental sensors

<p>Future iOS and watchOS devices could sport advanced environmental sensors, as evidenced by a newly granted Apple patent (number 9,804,003). These could include a temperature sensor, a pressure sensor, a humidity sensor, a gas sensor, or other sensors or combinations of sensors for sensing attributes of the environment surrounding the device. </p>

YouTube TV coming to the Apple TV in ‘coming weeks’
