<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">One of the advantages Microsoft's Word has over Apple's Pages is a good grammar checker. (Or at least used to have; I haven’t used Word in a long time). Pages’ proofreader feature is basically just spellchecking and sometimes you need more.</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Apple has announced <a href="https://www.apple.com/airpods-pro/">AirPods Pro</a>, an addition to the AirPods family that features Active Noise Cancellation and immersive sound in an all-new lightweight, in-ear design. AirPods Pro are available to order on <a href="https://www.apple.com/">apple.com</a> and the Apple Store app starting today and in stores beginning Wednesday, Oct. 30.</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Code within today’s iOS 13.2 upgrade includes the term “AirTag,” which is expected to be the moniker of Apple’s rumored tracking devices that will compete with products such as Tile.</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">The Tap Strap 2 introduces an AirMouse feature that lets you control devices such as iPads and smart TVs using hand gestures with its plug ’n play AirMouse functionality. </p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Apple has applied for another patent (number 20190324503) — one of a dozen or so — for an “electronic device with a wrap-around display” that hints at a iPhone with a wrap-around screen. And — who knows? — perhaps iPads, as well.</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">On a regular basis, <em>Apple World Today </em>posts a list of notable new apps or app updates that have been released. They may not necessarily be new, but they're popular and deserve mention. Here are this week’s picks.</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Another five games have been added to Apple Arcade: The new titles include side-scrolling action platformer "Fallen Knight" by FairPlay Studios, barnyard game "Hogwash" by Bossa Studios, the getaway "Lifelike: Chapter One" by Kunabi Brother, puzzler "Tales of Memo" by Tendays Studio, and roleplaying folktale "Yaga" by Versus Evil. </p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">According to <a href="https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2019-10-25/apple-united-in-early-discussions-to-upgrade-sfo-terminal" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Bloomberg</a>, Apple plans to work with United Airlines to “upgrade” United’s terminal at San Francisco International Airport. The article doesn’t explain exactly what that will entail.</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Could the Apple Watch someday completely replace your iPhone? I doubt it, as the  camera features of the smartphone would be impossible to replicate on the smartwatch. However, some folks disagree.</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Apple brought (very) limited mouse support to iPadOS, but the tech giant may be planning to add full mouse support in the near future to make the iPad a better productivity and gaming platform, according to Cliff Maldonado, principal analyst and founder of <a href="http://www.baystreetresearch.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">BayStreet Research</a>, a firm that researches smartphone, tablet and smartwatch markets. </p>
