<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Basecamp, Crunch Fitness, Orange Theory, and YMCA gyms are launching new “Apple Watch Connected” experiences inside gyms in the U.S., according to <a href="https://www.cnbc.com/2020/01/23/apple-watch-connected-gyms-announced-in-us.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">CNBC</a>. Members can get discounts for working out, use Apple Pay to buy stuff, book classes on their Apple Watch, and more. </p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Is Apple planning to make photo accessories for its iPhone line? The company is at least considering it, as evidenced by a new patent filing (number 20200026033) for a "folded telephoto camera lens system.” </p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Apple has filed for another patent (number 2020026352) that hints at smart gloves (which I like to call “iGloves”) that could be used with, among other things, an augmented reality headset (the rumored "Apple Glasses”). It's for "computer systems with finger devices.”</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Google researchers claim to have discovered “multiple security flaws” in Apple’s Safari browser, according to a new report from the <a href="https://www.ft.com/content/916a766a-3d27-11ea-a01a-bae547046735" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Financial TImes</a> (a subscription is required to read the article). The flaws were purportedly found in Safari’s Intelligent Tracking Prevention feature, which is designed to protect users from cross-site tracking and other online privacy concerns, and have since been fixed.</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Apple is nearing a series order for “Extrapolations,” a new climate change anthology from Scott Z. Burns (the writer, director and producer known for “An Inconvenient Truth” and “The Report”) for Apple TV+, according to <a href="https://variety.com/2020/tv/news/apple-tv-plus-series-order-scott-z-burns-climate-change-1203475789/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Variety</a>. The tech giant is developing the anthology with an eye toward a series order, “amid a competitive bidding situation," the article adds.</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">We can't blame the modern gamer if they've gotten to associate "car games" with racing. That's really what car games usually are - games with a ton of high-speed races on tracks with an assortment of customized vehicles and machines. Rarely do we see car games with different mechanics, such as hazards and power-ups. </p>

The goal is to promote the various series.</p>
