<p style="white-space:pre-wrap;"><a href="https://www.law360.com/technology/articles/1141846/qualcomm-apple-itc-fight-could-revive-public-interest-?nl_pk=ade0cf2b-ea3f-464b-bc93-d8e19277ac63&utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=technology" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer"><em>Law360</em> says</a> the U.S. International Trade Commission's ruling on Qualcomm’s bid to ban imports of Apple iPhones found to infringe a chip patent could come down any day now, and it may be the most likely avenue in nearly 35 years for public interest factors such as competitive harm to shape the outcome of an ITC exclusion case.</p>

<p style="white-space:pre-wrap;">To accompany iOS 12.1, Apple has updated the Apple TV Remote app for the Apple TV set-top box. The 2.2 upgrade includes, per Apple’s release notes, general performance and stability improvements.</p>

<p style="white-space:pre-wrap;">To celebrate 10 years of designing accessories for Apple gear, <a href="http://www.twelvesouth.com" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Twelve South</a> has announced updates to our first-ever product, BookArc for MacBook. </p>

<p style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Apple has updated <a href="https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/shortcuts/id915249334?mt=8" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Shortcuts</a>, its free iOS productivity app, to version 2.2. A free download at the Apple App Store, it contains over 300 built-in actions and works with a variety of apps. According to Apple’s release notes, version 2.2 has these changes:</p>

<p style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Apple Music is installed on 40 million Android devices, according to new data from <a href="http://www.sensortower.com" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Sensor Tower.</a> The research group anticipates that the current quarter will be the service’s best yet for new users on the platform.</p>

<p style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Let the Apple Car rumors roll on. Apple has been granted a patent (number 10,239,390) for “movable panel assemblies” for automobile roofs.</p>

<p style="white-space:pre-wrap;">WaterField Designs has introduced the <a href="https://www.sfbags.com/products/ipad-mini-travel-case" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">iPad Mini Travel Case</a>, a protective organizational sleeve for the iPad mini 5, Apple Pencil, and accessories. </p>

<p style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Ted Rossman, industry analyst at CreditCards.com, says he’s not that impressed with the Apple Card that was announced yesterday.</p>

<p style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Yesterday’s “It’s show time”Apple event was cram packed with news. Here are some of my first reactions:</p>

<p style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Users of Apple Pay and Apple Pay Cash have been notified about changes coming to Apple Pay Cash with iOS 12.2 and watchOS 5.2 software updates with addition of Instant Transfer.</p>

<p style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Apple has released macOS Mojave 10.14.4. The operating system upgrade adds support for Apple News + and Dark Mode on Safari.</p>

<p style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Apple has rolled out tvOS 12.2 for fourth and fifth generation Apple TVs. Combined with iOS 12.2, also released today, it lets users ask Siri to play specific media on the Apple set-top boxes from an iPhone or iPad.</p>

<p style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Apple has rebranded its fourth generation Apple TV as “Apple TV HD,” apparently so it won’t be confused with the Apple TV 4K.</p>

<p style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Apple has released iOS 12.2. You can download it on your iPhone or iPad by going to Settings --> General --> Software Update. </p>
