Jamf’s ‘innovation pod’ offers access to iPads and digital curriculum for Haitian students

<p>More than 100 children living in poverty will soon have the opportunity to engage with technology – many for the first time in their lives. <a target="_blank" href="http://www.jamf.com" rel="noopener noreferrer">Jamf </a>has unveiled an innovation pod that will give 150 kindergarten students at Hope School access to a variety of technologies, including iPads and digital curriculum.</p>

The end of the iTunes LP format doesn’t mean Apple will quit selling albums and songs

<p>Apple has sent out an email to people working in the music business announcing the end of iTunes LPs, reports <a target="_blank" href="http://metro.co.uk/2018/03/06/end-itunes-leaked-apple-email-sparks-fears-future-music-downloads-7365412/" rel="noopener noreferrer"><em>Metro</em>.</a> The article says it’s beginning of the tech giant’s plans to stop selling downloads altogether, but the Sellers Research Group (that’s me) says that’s not the case.</p>

Survey asks why folks haven’t upgraded to an iPhone X

<p>Piper Jaffray <a target="_blank" href="https://www.fastcompany.com/40539648/this-is-why-a-lot-of-iphone-users-havent-upgraded-to-the-iphone-x?partner=feedburner&utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+fastcompany%2Fheadlines+%28Fast+Company%29" rel="noopener noreferrer">has released a new survey</a> asking why folks who currently own iPhones haven’t upgrade to the iPhone X. </p>

Analyst thinks Apple plans a fully self-designed vehicle (the Sellers Research Group thinks not)

<p>In a note to clients — as noted by <a target="_blank" href="https://appleinsider.com/articles/18/03/05/apple-likely-to-be-all-in-or-all-out-of-self-driving-cars-within-2-years-analyst-argues" rel="noopener noreferrer"><em>AppleInsider</em></a> — Guggenheim analyst Robert Cirha says Apple's experimentation with autonomous car technology is likely to veer away from creating a simple platform and back towards a fully self-designed vehicle.</p>

SSAAD protest Apple’s ‘lack of action’ regarding tech addiction

<p>Stanford Students Against Addictive Devices (SSAAD) staged a protest on Saturday outside of the Apple Palo Alta (California) store on University Avenue. The student protesters said the tech giant isn’t taking adequate technology addiction, reports <a target="_blank" href="https://www.stanforddaily.com/2018/03/05/student-group-protests-apple-over-addictive-devices/" rel="noopener noreferrer"><em>The Stanford Daily</em></a>. They also demanded that the company adjust software features to mitigate users’ constant focus on their devices.</p>
