<p class="">Apple has filed for a patent (number 2020096770) that suggests the rumored "Apple Glasses” will have a “tunable lens.”</p>

<p class="">Taiwanese makers of iPhone-bound printed circuit boards (PCBs) deny rumors that Apple’s 2020 iPhone will be delayed by months, according to a <a href="https://www.digitimes.com/news/a20200327PD200.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">DigiTimes</a> (a subscription is required to read the entire article).</p>

<p class="">In a note to clients -- as noted by <a href="http://www.macrumors.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">MacRumors </a>— analyst Ming-Chi Kuo says Apple plans to launch several laptop AND desktop Macs with its own custom designed ARM-based processors in the first quarter of 2021 (or perhaps late this year).</p>

<p class="">If there's one company that’s in a great position to survive the coronavirus pandemic, it's Apple. The tech giant ended 2019 with US$247 billion in cash, securities and account receivables.</p>

<p class="">iPhone assembler Wistron expects to have 50% of production outside China by 2021, according to <a href="https://www.digitimes.com/news/a20200326PD207.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Digitimes</a>.</p>

<p class="">Loup Ventures’ <a href="https://loupventures.com/fall-iphone-event-likely-to-remain-a-bedrock-for-apple/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Gene Munster says </a>he thinks Apple’s 5G iPhone will indeed launch this fall despite <a href="https://appleworld.dreamhosters.com/blog/2020/3/25/apple-reportedly-may-delay-release-of-next-iphone-by-months" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">rumors</a> that it will be delayed for “month” due to the coronavirus pandemic.</p>

<p class="">Future Mac keyboards (on laptops and standalone keyboards) may sport built-in microphones per a new Apple patent filing (number 2020097053) for a “method for porting a microphone through keyboard.”</p>

<p class="">It’s been predicted for a while, but a newly filed Apple patent (number 20200097747) hints at Face ID will eventually come to the Mac (at least to laptops). It's dubbed "light recognition module for determining a user of a computing device.”</p>
