<p>On a regular basis, Apple World Today posts a list of notable new apps or app updates that have been released. They may not necessarily be new, but they're popular and deserve mention. Here are today's picks.</p>

<p>It’s official: There’ll be no more development on Apple’s AirPort line of products, which includes the AirPort Express ($99), the AirPort Extreme ($199), and the AirPort Time Capsule ($299). </p>

<p>Vox Mobile — a newly signed Apple Authorized Managed Service Provider and Reseller — launched DaaS + MMS for Apple, an all-inclusive Device-as-a-Service (DaaS) offering for the iPhone, iPad and Mac, fully integrated with its industry leading Managed Mobility Services (MMS). </p>

<p>In a note to clients — as noted by the Chinese site Feng — the anticipated 6.1-inch LCD iPhone due later this year may not feature 3D Touch due to pricing issues. Instead, it will sport "Cover Glass Sensor" (CGS) technology and relocated the smartphone’s touch module from the display panel to the surface glass.</p>

<p>According to the latest research from Counterpoint’s Market Monitor service, Chinese smartphone shipments slowed in the first quarter of 2018 with a year-over-year decline of 8% and sequential decline of 21%. Xiaomi (+51%) and Apple (+32%) were the fastest growing brands among the top five.</p>
