<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Apple, eBay, Samsung, and Sprint have announced a joint agreement to purchase power from a new wind farm owned and developed by <a href="https://apexcleanenergy.com" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Apex Clean Energy</a>. The transaction—spearheaded by Apple, the largest purchaser in the innovative small-load energy aggregation space—totals approximately 75 megawatts of clean energy, enough to power the equivalent of 20,000 homes.</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">I had hoped to test out the <a href="https://www.tesmo.co" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Tesmo Kickstand</a> with a 16-inch MacBook Pro, but since the rumored laptop hasn’t yet arrived from Apple, I gave it a whirl on my 2019 MacBook Air. </p>

It’s a fact-based period drama about entrepreneurs who tried to circumvent the racial limitations of the 1950s as they turned their business savvy into social activism and decided to help African Americans get loans in Texas. It will debut in theaters on Dec. 6, a few weeks before it arrives on Apple TV+.</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Conviva, which specializes in global streaming media intelligence, has released its quarterly <a href="https://c212.net/c/link/?t=0&l=en&o=2629254-1&h=456810996&u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.conviva.com%2Fstate-of-streaming%2F&a=State+of+Streaming+report" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">State of Streaming report</a> for quarter three of 2019, revealing time spent streaming continues to climb – up 53% year-over-year – as consumers embrace on demand videos (63% of all streaming viewing is on demand) on their TVs, computers, and mobile devices. </p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;"><a href="https://www.cirpllc.com" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Consumer Intelligence Research Partners</a> has released analysis of the results from its research on Apple for the fiscal quarter that ended Sept. 28. The research group’s study indicates the iPhone’s U.S. installed base reached 204 million units. CIRP bases this estimate on an estimated global sales of 43 million iPhones, which is in turn derived from an estimated average selling price (ASP) of $783 and Apple-disclosed iPhone revenues.</p>

Photoshop for iPad is free (though it offers in-app purchases) and is available at the Apple App Store.</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Apple working with Valve According to <a href="https://www.digitimes.com/news/a20191104PD209.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">DigiTimes</a>, Apple has partnered with U.S. game developer Valve to develop “Apple Glasses,” the rumored augmented reality/virtual reality head-mounted display.</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Apple has announced a $2.5 billion plan to help address the housing availability and affordability crisis in California. </p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Last week AirPods Pro joined the AirPods family with Active Noise Cancellation, Transparency mode, sweat and water resistance, and superior, immersive sound, in an all-new lightweight, in-ear design. After five days of use, I’ve found them to be very impressive. </p>

<p class="">iOS 12 and iOS 13 come with a Measure app that allows you to draw (virtual) straight lines to measure objects and surfaces both vertically and horizontally using your iPhone or iPad camera, and automatically detect dimensions of rectangular objects. </p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Apple has filed for yet another patent (number 20190324503) for an “electronic device with a wraparound display” that hints at possible future incarnations of the iPhone and/or the iPad.</p>
