<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">My hands are always chilly when I’m outdoors this time of year. I’m a runner and now that cold weather is here, I wear gloves when I’m putting in my miles. Alas, wearing gloves makes it difficult to track my workouts with my Apple Watch.</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">With Do Not Disturb, you can silence calls, alerts, and notifications that you get while your device is locked. You can also schedule Do Not Disturb and allow calls from certain people. The feature is designed to help users stay more focused while they’re behind the wheel of an automobile. </p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Apple celebrated “Truth Be Told” — which will debut on Apple TV+ Dec. 6 — with the global premiere of the original series at The Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Los Angeles, California. The limited drama series follows podcaster Poppy Parnell (Octavia Spencer) as she is compelled to reopen the murder case that made her a national sensation and comes face-to-face with Warren Cave (Aaron Paul), the man she may have mistakenly helped to put behind bars. </p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">President Donald Trump and Apple CEO Tim Cook are expected to tour facilities in Texas where Apple products are made as soon as next week to showcase companies that keep jobs in America, according to <a href="https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-trump-apple/trump-apple-ceo-tim-cook-to-tour-apple-operations-in-texas-sources-idUSKBN1XM2RS">Reuters</a>, quoting two unnamed “people familiar with the matter.”</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Former HBO CEO and chairman Richard Plepler is talking with Apple about an exclusive Apple TV+ production deal, reports <a href="https://deadline.com/2019/11/richard-plepler-production-deal-apple-1202784113/"><em>Deadline</em></a>, quoting unnamed sources.</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">According to a tweet from <a href="https://twitter.com/markgurman"><em>Bloomberg</em>'s Mark Gurman</a>, Apple will announce the long-rumored 16-inch MacBook Pro tomorrow. </p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Sources close to Apple” <a href="https://variety.com/2019/tv/news/for-all-mankind-morning-show-apple-tv-plus-renew-1203397350/">tell Variety</a> that Apple TV+ has drawn millions of users who are spending on average more than an hour on the new streaming service. However, Eagle Alpha's latest report on the intensifying streaming wars claims that Disney+ — which launches today — has gained some traction among consumers as Apple TV+ lags and none of the new challengers to Netflix have yet to make significant inroads.</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">There may be faster external drives around than the Plugable Thunderbolt 3 NVMe External SSD, but I haven’t used one. However, speed comes at a price. </p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Perhaps Apple is listening to users’ requests for better laptops with better keyboards. Apple has filed for a patent (number 10,474,189) for a “portable computer unified top case” that hints at future iterations of the MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, and MacBook.</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Rumors of the impending release of a 16-inch MacBook Pro refuse to die. <a href="https://9to5mac.com/2019/11/11/16-inch-macbook-pro-hands-on-event/">9to5Mac says</a> “there’s growing evidence that we could finally be on the cusp of an unveil as soon as this week.”</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;"><a href="https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2019-11-11/apple-s-ar-push-will-start-with-ipad-and-culminate-with-glasses">Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman says</a> Apple is working on "a range of augmented and virtual-reality devices" based on a new 3D sensor system. He says the first device will be a 2020 iPad Pro.</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Kim Rozenfeld (pictured), recently head of current scripted programming and documentary/unscripted content at Apple and former Sony TV head of current programming, is leaving Apple.</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">In a note to clients — as noted by <a href="https://www.macrumors.com">MacRumors</a> — analyst Ming-Chi Kuo says the Apple Watch Series 6 will offer faster performance, improved water resistance, and improved wireless transmission for potentially faster Wi-Fi and cellular speeds. </p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">According to <a href="https://www.theinformation.com/articles/apple-eyes-2022-release-for-ar-headset-2023-for-glasses"><em>The Information</em></a>, Apple plans  to release an augmented-reality (AR) headset in 2022 and a sleeker pair of AR glasses by 2023.</p>
