<p>Apple has asked the government of India to extend tax breaks to its suppliers if the country wants to become a manufacturing hub for iPhones and its components, reports <a target="_blank" href="http://www.reuters.com/article/us-apple-india-idUSKBN1AH499?feedType=RSS&feedName=technologyNews&utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+reuters%2FtechnologyNews+%28Reuters+Technology+News%29" rel="noopener noreferrer">Reuters</a>.</p>

<p>Sonnet Technologies has released <a target="_blank" href="http://www.sonnettech.com/product/thunderbolt3-upgrade-cards" rel="noopener noreferrer">Thunderbolt 3 upgrade cards</a> for existing Thunderbolt 2 Echo Express SE II, III-D, and III-R expansion systems, giving those models greater bandwidth for users' installed PCIe cards, and providing Thunderbolt 3 connectivity to allow use with the latest MacBook Pros and iMacs. </p>

<p>Apple has been granted a patent (number 9,719,797) for a voice and touch user interface for CarPlay. Compatible with iPhone 5 and later models, CarPlay provides a simplified way to use your iPhone interface on a car’s touch screen, giving users access to Siri voice controls, as well as Apple Maps, Apple Music, Phone, Messages, and a variety of third party apps.</p>

<p>Apple and Google have removed hundreds of trading apps from their online stores after an intervention by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) to crack down on online fraud, according to <a target="_blank" href="http://www.independent.co.uk/news/business/news/apple-google-trading-apps-stores-financial-scams-fraud-stores-hack-cyber-a7870201.html" rel="noopener noreferrer">The Independent</a>.</p>
