<p>Apple has officially reached its projections of its services alone being the equivalent to a Fortune 100 company. </p>

<p>Apple has announced financial results for its fiscal 2017 third quarter that ended July 1. The company posted quarterly revenue of $45.4 billion and quarterly earnings per diluted share of $1.67. </p>

<p>Apple Pay today has expanded to 21 new banks and credit unions in the U.S. Plus, another five institutions have been added in Australia, Canada, Japan and the UK.</p>

<p>Apple has been granted a patent (number 9,719,797) for a voice and touch user interface for CarPlay. Compatible with iPhone 5 and later models, CarPlay provides a simplified way to use your iPhone interface on a car’s touch screen, giving users access to Siri voice controls, as well as Apple Maps, Apple Music, Phone, Messages, and a variety of third party apps.</p>

<p>Apple and Google have removed hundreds of trading apps from their online stores after an intervention by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) to crack down on online fraud, according to <a target="_blank" href="http://www.independent.co.uk/news/business/news/apple-google-trading-apps-stores-financial-scams-fraud-stores-hack-cyber-a7870201.html" rel="noopener noreferrer">The Independent</a>.</p>
