As noted by <a href="https://appleinsider.com/articles/20/07/16/patent-lawsuit-targets-apple-beats-wireless-headphones-and-speakers" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">AppleInsider</a>, hardware vendor One-E-Way claims multiple Apple and Beats devices infringe on a family of patents covering wireless audio systems.</p>

<p class="">U.S. District Judge William Alsup has ordered Apple to hand over its Federal Communications Commission correspondence to consumers who allege iPhones emit dangerous levels of radiation, after asking Apple during a hearing if it was "afraid" the public would be "horrified" at the information, reports <a href="https://www.law360.com/technology/articles/1292823/alsup-orders-apple-to-produce-fcc-iphone-communications?nl_pk=ade0cf2b-ea3f-464b-bc93-d8e19277ac63&utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=technology" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Law360</a> (a subscription is required to read the entire article).</p>

It sports a laptop-like keyboard that moves and adjusts depending on the selected use, as well as support for Smart Connector.</p>

<p class="">Mark Boal, the <em>The Hurt Locker </em>and <em>Zero Dark Thirty</em> screenwriter has landed a straight-to-series order at Apple for a scripted action-thriller based on Keshet's <em>When Heroes Fly</em>, from creator Omri Givon and inspired by the novel by Amir Gutfreund, according to <a href="https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/mark-boal-adapting-heroes-fly-as-apple-drama-series-1303395?utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">The Hollywood Reporter</a>.</p>

<p class="">Apple announced it’s deepening its existing partnerships with Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), adding 10 more HBCU regional coding centers that will serve as technology hubs for their campuses and broader communities. This effort is part of Apple’s Community Education Initiative, designed to bring coding, creativity, and workforce development opportunities to learners of all ages.</p>

<p class="">Apple has filed for three more patents regarding its rumored “Apple Glasses,” an augmented reality head-mounted display (HMD). The first involves considerations for users with eye problems such as myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism, or presbyopia.</p>

<p class="">Apple has filed for a patent (number 20200225778) for a “computer system with color sampling stylus” that hints at interesting new features for an upcoming Apple Pencil.</p>

<p class="">Apple will release its first Apple Silicon-based 13-inch MacBook Pro and MacBook Air by the end of 2020, according to <a href="https://www.digitimes.com/news/a20200716PD208.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">DigiTimes</a>. Total shipments of Apple’s laptop line-up are expected to reach 16-17 million units this year, the article adds.</p>
