<p style="white-space: pre-wrap;">A federal judge <a href="https://appleinsider.com/articles/18/08/30/apple-loses-bid-for-new-trial-in-virnetx-case-appeal-still-be-possible" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">has denied</a> Apple’s motion for a new trial in a long-running patent case leveled by non-practicing entity VirnetX, a suit that left the tech giant owing $502.6 million. </p>

As of October 3, all Apple Store apps must have a privacy policy

<p style="white-space: pre-wrap;">As of Oct. 3, all new apps and app updates will require a privacy policy in order to be submitted for distribution on the Apple App Store or through TestFlight for beta testing purposes. <a href="https://developer.apple.com/testflight/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">TestFlight</a> is a free iOS app testing platform that’s part of iTunes Connect. </p>

The Apple Watch Series 1 is the most popular smartwatch

What to expect at Apple’s ‘Gather Round’ media event on September 12

A 7-inch iPhone, anyone? Smartphones can get even bigger if vendors are willing to risk it
