You don’t need to be a tech to install the ITV app on your Apple TV. The process is quite simple. And since the app is available for download. To install your ITV hub app, go to the App Store on your Apple TV- it’s represented by a blue icon. 

To navigate the App Store, click on the back button of your Apple TV; this will direct you to the Home screen. Scroll down until you get to the Apple Store icon. Use your trackpad to scroll and type the app by typing the ITV letters. If not possible, you can use the voice search method. 

Once the description of the app pops up, click on it and download. You will then have the ITV hub app added to your home screen. 

It’s worth noting that if you had previously deleted your ITV Hub app, you can reinstall it, but you will need to update to the latest version to continue getting your favorite ITV content.  

However, you don’t have to worry about the update when it comes to updating the app while connected to any other TV device. The ITV app will automatically update itself. Also, most ITV programmes don’t require a paid subscription, though you must have an account (free) to get their content.

If you use any of the following devices, such as iPhone 5, iPhone 5c (and older), iPad 1-4, or iPad mini 1, you may find it hard to get the latest version of the ITV app.

How to watch ITV on Apple TV

Now, you have the ITV app. Use your remote to click on it and get started.
