Rumor: upcoming MacBook Airs will come in new colors a la the 14-inch iMac

As I surmised (or at least hope) the 2021 MacBook Air will come in different colors like the 2021 iMac, according to Apple leaker Jon Prosser. This means they would be offered in green, yellow, blue, orange, pink, purple, and silver.

Currently, you can get the MacBook Air in space gray, gold, or silver. You can get the 13-inch MacBook Pro and 16-inch MacBook Pro in space grey or silver.

I suspect that the MacBook Pro and new 27-inch (if not bigger) iMac (or iMac Pro) will still come in space grey and silver only to give them a more “pro” appearance (though I hope I’m wrong).

Also, Prosser says the next gen MacBook Airs will sport an M2 chip, the successor to Apple’s M1 processor.
