Apple posts first public beta of macOS Big Sur 11.3 with HomePod stereo support

Apple has released the first public beta version of macOS Big Sur 11.3. It’s available on Apple’s Beta Software Program website. Just remember that beta software, so proceed with care.

The new public beta offers more customization options for Safari, support for the latest PlayStation 5 DualSense and Xbox Series X/S controllers, tweaks to the Reminders app, and — yes! — HomePod stereo support.

Apple does public betas in order to increase the size of the pool of testers. The tech giant recommends keeping back-ups of your files before installing a public beta.
