Intrepid Bag Company’s Luxury Leather Line: For the discerning tech geek

I have a thing for leather — leather computer accessories, that is. That’s why when I saw a Kickstarter campaign for the Luxury Leather Line from the Intrepid Bag Co., I just had to sneak a glance at what they had.

Like their partners over at Pad & Quill, Intrepid makes high quality bags for carrying your tech gear as well as accessories. Last year, the company successfully funded the Journeyman Commuter Leather Messenger Bag and Lillium Leather Side Purse Hip Satchel. This year, they’re back with a complete line that includes a Wayfarer Messenger bag for your 15-inch MacBook Pro, the Zinnia Convertible (backpack/crossbody bag for up to a 13-inch MacBook Pro), a Slim Wallet (useful when you can’t pay with Apple Pay), a Camera Strap for your DLSR, and my favorite, the Tech Roll.

The Intrepid Tech Roll is a leather roll-up case that can hold cables, a small hard drive, an external battery pack, AC adapters, and more. It holds those in a bunch of canvas pockets, and even has mini-pockets on the exterior for SD cards.

In about a day, the Intrepid Bag Co. team has already locked in over 21 percent of its modest funding goal. We’ll be reviewing one or more of the Luxury Leather Line bags and accessories as soon as they’re available. Until then, pre-order on Kickstarter.
