Apple’s VP for public policy and government affairs resigns

Cynthia Hogan, Apple’s vice president for public policy and government affairs, has resigned from the company, reports Axios. She’ll leave next month to serve as one of four leaders of a vice presidential selection committee for Joe Biden’s presidential campaign.

Apple hired Hogan in April 2016 as its vice president for public policy and government affairs for the Americas, While this position oversees the company’s operations in Canada and Latin America, its primary purpose is as a lobbyist for Apple. Hogan is no stranger to DC, working with the NFL and working as a top aide to Biden when he was vice president.
