Apple’s Japan retail stores to start reopening this week

Bloomberg‘s Mark Gurman says Apple Japan retail stores in Fukuoka (pictured) and Nagoya Sakae will reopen on May 27. Reopening dates for the country’s eight other Apple stores haven’t yet been posted.

Apple has reopened around 100 of its retail locations around the world as pandemic restrictions have eased, although some are only offering curbside or storefront service. According to its new blueprint, all stores will allow customers to make Genius Bar reservations, and those reopening their doors will require face coverings and temperature checks.
