Apple’s general counsel earned $4.6 million in 2020

Apple general counsel Kate Adams earned nearly US$4.6 million in 2020, on top of earning stock in the Cupertino, California-based tech giant that could be worth about $21.7 million, according to a U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission filing lodged Tuesday, as noted by Law360 (a subscription is required to read the entire article).

Adams is Apple’s general counsel and senior vice president of Legal and Global Security, reporting to CEO Tim Cook. Kate serves on the company’s executive team and oversees all legal matters, including corporate governance, intellectual property, litigation and securities compliance, global security and privacy. Kate joined Apple from Honeywell in 2017, where she worked for 14 years.
