One of our most popular old posts by Dennis Sellers shows how to use the macOS Disk Utility to set up a flash drive or hard drive so that it can transfer information between a Mac and a Windows PC. Currently, if you format a flash or hard drive in Apple’s APFS file system, copy data to it, and try to open it on a Windows 10 PC, you won’t be able to see the data. In this video, we show you how to use an older set of disk formats that can be used by both macOS and Windows 10 to format a transfer disk for compatibility.
