The Apple Vision Pro will automatically be sold with 1 TB of SSD storage, according to a report at the French site, iPhoneSoft. The article says this information is contained in the “Settings” application of the two helmets that the publication’s contact was able to test within one of Apple’s in-person developer labs.
“This is a large amount of storage, but it is ultimately the minimum expected on a computer at nearly $3,500, or certainly more than 4,000 euros with taxes,” says iPhoneSoft. “With applications designed for 3D, streaming or virtual reality, it is a safe bet that all this will be quickly used. Apple could even offer a 2 or even 4 TB option for large consumers, but this remains to be seen.”
Apple previewed the Vision Pro at June’s Worldwide Developer Conference. However, it won’t be available until early 2024 — and, then, apparently only in limited quantities.
