Apple TV Remote app gets an iPad interface

To accompany iOS 10.3, Apple has updated the Apple TV Remote app for the fourth generation Apple TV. The 1.1 upgrade adds a specific iPad interface for the first time.

The free app allows you to control your Apple TV with your iOS device, foregoing the necessity to use the Siri Remote device. You can control Apple’s set-top box with a swipe of your finger or use the keyboard to enter text. Plus, you can use the app along with the Siri Remote.

Apple TV Remote 1.1 offers an enhanced “Now Playing” experience with lyrics and playlists for music and chapters, audio tracks, and captions selection for movies and TV shows. It also offers general performance and stability improvements.
