Apple TV adds NBCUniversal, VHX apps

Pay TV subscribers who also own a fourth-generation Apple TV can stream the latest shows from NBCUniversal channels Bravo, E! and Syfy through dedicated apps Bravo Now, E! Now and Syfy Now.

Both current and past seasons should be available. Some are free to watch, but others require you to sign in with your TV provider account details.

What’s more, video channel operators on Vimeo’s VHX subscription VOD platform can now let users subscribe directly from apps for the Apple TV, reports Variety. Sellers on the VHX currently launched with in-app subscriptions in the Apple and Roku app stores include MHz Networks, which offers foreign-language programming for U.S. consumers, as well as YouTube channels Black&Sexy TV, and Yoga with Adriene.
