Apple to open a new retail store in Kyoto, Japan, on August 25

Apple has previewed the upcoming grand opening of their newest retail store in Kyoto, Japan. It will open at 10 a.m. local time on Aug. 25.

With its opening, Apple will  have 504 retail stores in 25 countries and an online store available in 39 countries. The Kyoto location will be Apple’s ninth retail store in the country.



Kyoto, once the capital of Japan, is a city on the island of Honshu. It’s famous for its numerous classical Buddhist temples, as well as gardens, imperial palaces, Shinto shrines and traditional wooden houses.
