Apple temporarily closes all retail stores in Italy

As noted by MacRumors, Apple’s website for its Italian stores says that due to precautionary health measures currently in force, retail locations will remain closed until a later date. Italian customers are instructed to get online support for their devices.

Italy is the worst-affected country from the coronavirus outside Asia earlier Wednesday, temporarily overtaking Iran in terms of the number of deaths and infections from the virus. There have more than 12,000 people infected with over 800 deaths in the country.
