Apple taking pre-orders for iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12, and 2020 iPad Air (updated)

You can now pre-order the iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12, as well as the 2020 iPad Air, from Apple. However, various reports say that some models of the smartphone are already on back order.

The iPhone 11 mini and iPhone 12 boast edge-to-edge Super Retina XDR displays for a brighter, more immersive viewing experience, and a new Ceramic Shield front cover, providing what Apple says is “the biggest jump in durability ever” on an iPhone.

They’re available in 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB models in blue, green, black, white, and (PRODUCT)RED starting at US$799 and $699, respectively. Customers can also get an iPhone 12 for $22.87 a month or $549 with trade-in and iPhone 12 mini for $18.70 a month or $449 with trade-in from apple.com, in the Apple Store app, and at Apple Store locations.9 iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini are also available through Apple Authorized Resellers and select carriers.

In September, Apple announced the totally-redesigned iPad Air featuring an edge-to-edge display, the smallest Touch ID implementation ever, and the A14 Bionic chip. Available next month starting at $599 (Wi-Fi) and $729 (Wi-Fi + Cellular), the new iPad Air also comes in a number of new colors including blue and green.

Pre-orders for the iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max will start Friday, Nov. 6.
