Apple signs first-look deal with Appian Way for Apple TV+ content

Apple has signed a first-look deal with Appian Way Prods., the film and television production company founded by Leonardo DiCaprio and co-run by Jennifer Davisson, reports Deadline. The multi-year deal covers television projects and documentary features for Apple TV+.

The tech giant and Academy Award winning actor are already collaborating on the upcoming feature Killers of the Flower Moon, directed by Martin Scorsese and starring DiCaprio and Robert De Niro, as well as the recent series order for Shining Girls, a thriller drama starring Elisabeth Moss, which is produced by Appian Way and MRC Television.

Apple TV+ is available on the Apple TV app on iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, iPod touch, Mac, select Samsung and LG smart TVs, Amazon Fire TV and Roku devices, as well as at tv.apple.com, for US$4.99 per month with a seven-day free trial.
