Apple releases new version of 1.0.275 AirTags firmware

Pennsylvania's government has taken steps to punish folks who use devices such as AirTags to illegally track someone.

Apple has released a new version of the 1.0.276 firmware designed for its AirTags tracking devices. It’s a revision to the update released earlier this month.

As noted by MacRumors, there’s no way to force an AirTag update; it’s done over-the-air through a connected iPhone. To prompt an update, you can place the tracking device in range of your ‌iPhone. However, you have to wait for the firmware to roll out to your device.
