Apple has released macOS High Sierra 10.13.6. It adds AirPlay 2 multi-room audio support for iTunes and improves the stability and security of your Mac.
AirPlay 2 is Apple’s followup to the original AirPlay Wi-Fi-based music playback standard. While Sonos popularized Wi-Fi-based multi-room audio playback, Bluetooth became ubiquitous, and multi-platform Wi-Fi audio standards spread in popularity, Apple lacked a competing story until AirPlay 2.
macOS High Sierra 10.13.6 also fixes an issue that may prevent Photos from recognizing AVCHD media from some cameras and fixes an issue that may prevent Mail users from moving a message from Gmail to another account. The upgrade can be downloaded at the Mac App Store — or through the Software Update function in the Mac App Store.
