Apple ranks 12th in the annual Fortune Global 500 list of the world’s largest companies for profit, down one spot from last year.

The list is based on a company’s published total revenues in their fiscal years ending on or before March 31. Fortune listed Apple as having revenues of US$260.17 billion, which is a 2% drop from the 2019 list.
Preceding Apple on the list, along with their revenues, are: Walmart ($524 billion), Sinopec Group ($407 billion), State Grid ($384 billion), China National Petroleum ($379 billion), Royal Dutch Shell ($352 billion), Saudi Aramco ($330 billion), Volkswagen ($283 billion), BP ($283 billion), Amazon ($281 billion), Toyota ($275 billion), and Exxon Mobile $265 billion).
