Apple posts info on Apple Camp at Home for kids ages eight to 12

Apple has posted info for this summer’s free Apple Camp for kids ages eight to 12. It’s a three-day program normally held at your local Apple retail store. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s being held online for the first time.

Apple Camp is designed to “broaden their [the kids] creative horizons by making movies, creating interactive books, and more using Apple products.”

Participants can experience Apple Camp at Home through Apple’s self-guided Activity Book and enhanced through virtual sessions hosted by Apple Store Creatives.

Sessions are 30 minutes (Orientation) or 60 minutes (Q&A) and take place via Webex. The self-guided Activity Book, available as a Pages document, can be completed at the participant’s own pace. To use the Activity Book, you’ll need the free Pages app. If it’s not already on your device, you can download it here.
