Apple posts 13.2.1 software update for HomePods

Apple has released HomePod OS 13.2.1 for the HomePod. This follows the 13.2 release on Oct. 28, which “bricked” some of the smart speakers.

The update adds the ability for smart speaker to recognize different voices, play high-quality ambient soundtracks, and handoff music, podcasts or calls from iPhone. It should be automatically via the Home app on an iPhone. If it does, you can do it manually by tapping on the house icon at the top right of the screen, then scrolling to Software Update.
