Apple is working on a revamped iPad Pro for next year, “aiming to shake up a tablet market that’s deep in the doldrums,” according to Bloomberg‘s Mark Gurman in his latest “Power On” newsletter.
The new model will mark the first major update to the product since 2018, he adds. The new purportedly models will come in 11-inch and 13-inch sizes. That’s similar to the existing lineup, but the larger model is currently 12.9 inches. Also, according to Gurman:
° A revamped Magic Keyboard will make the iPad Pro look even more like a laptop than the current setup and add a larger trackpad.
° The new iPad Pros won’t be part of the company’s big launch event next month, when it will focus on the iPhone and Apple Watch, and probably won’t debut until spring or early summer.
It was previously reported that Apple will equip the iPad Pro with an OLED panel which could come with a new M3 chip based on TSMC’s 3nm process.
