Apple places 12th on 2020 Best Company Compensation (Large Companies) list

Apple places 12th on the 2020 Best Company Compensation (Large Companies) list from Comparably.com, a firm whose mission is to “make workplaces transparent and rewarding for both employees and employers.”

Ahead of Apple on the list are: Google, Facebook, Microsoft, Ultimate Software, Qualtrics, UiPath, T-Mobile, Verizon, Capital One, Zoom Video Communications, and Amazon.

The list is based on anonymous feedback submitted by employees in the last 12 months. This distinction is segmented into two lists: Large companies (more than 500 employees) and Small/Mid-Size companies (500 employees or fewer.

Apple’s overall culture is rated B+ with some of its positive attributes considered  to be: the employee stock purchase program; the strongest-ever leadership team; a and creative, intelligent, good-natured and supportive of the several projects being completed by team members. Among the items listed as things to be changed to make the company better are:

° Understanding that employees are human beings instead of working to a high pace irrespective of the need to work at that pace; ease up on the interview meetings that are there for the sake of it; and Overall direction and focus with the resources to back up key projects

According to Comparably.com, salaries at Apple range from a low of US$35,000 to a high of $477,022. The jobs with the three highest estimated salaries are vice president of sales, vice president of engineering, and vice president of advertising, while the jobs with the lowest three estimated salaries are sales associate, CS rep, and technical support.
