Apple News Items You Should Check out: Aug. 19

Since I can’t cover everything, here are some recommended articles from some other sources.

Since I can’t cover everything, I like to offer a daily round-up of must-read articles from some other great websites. To wit:

° From Apple’s Newsroom site: Apple has posted an article about how participants of The Chicago Lighthouse’s Photography for All program gain independence, confidence, and creative skills with the iPhone and iPad.

° From The Hollywood Reporter: Streaming services hit a fifth consecutive high in their share of all TV use in July — and for the first time, ranked as the most watched platform across the television landscape.

° From Apple 3.0: Apple’s new products this fall will be subdued, says Loup’s Gene Munster.

° From Macworld: Zoom has pushed another Mac update to fix a critical security flaw.

° From MacVoices Live!: A “sister” show to MacVoices is The Mac Show on The British Tech Network. Many, but not all, of the same faces, and different perspectives on some topics. This is a sample show recorded earlier this month that I wanted to give you a taste of another terrific Apple-oriented podcast. If you like what you hear and see, check out all the shows on BTN.
