Apple named the country’s most relevant brand (for the fifth year running)

For the fifth year in a row, Apple has been named the country’s most relevant brand in the annual Brand Relevance Index from Prophet. It’s based on 50,000 consumers across the globe who were asked which brands were most relevant in their lives, and why.

Here’s what Prophet has to say about Apple: “In its fifth year in the No. 1 spot, Apple continues to break new ground. For decades, Apple has been the go-to standard for all things design, inspiring other product companies, like Dyson, to innovate the mundane into the beautiful. But Apple doesn’t stop with its quality hardware products. Sure, iPhones are hot again and gaining market share. But it passed a major milestone, with phone sales now representing under half of Apple’s revenue for the first time since 2012. That’s because people are increasingly embracing services like Apple Music, Apple Pay and iCloud, traveling deeper into the Apple ecosystem all the time. That transformation is likely to build speed with the rollout of Apple TV+, designed to rival Netflix, and Apple Arcade.”
