Apple Maps vehicles spotted surveying England with New Orleans coming soon

Apple is stepping up its effort to provide street-view access in its Apple Maps, deploying a fleet of vehicles in the UK to collect street-level mapping data. As expected, Mercedes-Benz vans sporting an Apple Maps logo have been spotted just north on London in Solihull, England, reports MacRumors.

Apple will continue its mapping efforts in the US and UK, with New Orleans, Louisiana now added to list of cities to be mapped. You can visit Apple’s Map vehicles webpage for detailed information on where the company will be collecting information in the coming month.
