As noted by AppleInsider, Apple Maps now provides transit directions — complete with bus and rail routes — for Virginia The transit directions should work in both the iOS and macOS versions of Maps.
The new transit additions include at least five cities in Virginia. Apple Maps has incorporated bus lines in Springfield and St. Louis, Missouri.
