Apple lures Porsche’s VP of Chassis Development to work on the ‘Apple Car’

According to Insider Deutschland — as noted by 9to5Mac — Apple has hired Dr. Manfred Harrer, Porsche’s vice president of Chassis Development, presumably to work on the rumored “Apple Car.”

Insider Deutschland says Porsche, Apple, and Harrer declined to comment on the report. According to his LinkedIn profile, he is still employed by Porsche. According to reports, the sports car manufacturer insisted on a customary suspension before Harrer was allowed to start working for a new employer. When asked by NewsABC.net, the engineer refused to comment.
