Apple shares (AAPL) inched 0.82% higher to $147.92 Monday, on what proved to be an all-around favorable trading session for the stock market, with the NASDAQ Composite Index COMP rising 0.63% to 11,466.98 and the Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA rising 0.22% to 32,889.09, according to MarketWatch.
Apple closed $31.69 below its 52-week high ($179.61), which the company achieved on March 30. The stock demonstrated a mixed performance when compared to some of its competitors Monday, as Microsoft rose 0.38% to $250.16, Alphabet rose 0.84% to $90.10, and Alphabet’s Google rose 0.83% to $89.87.
